I was happy to see that Soft Raid has a "free" option, with fewer features, but still with a nag saying "your trial has expired, please purchase a license to keep using softraid." I'd like to know what I can do about this? Is there a way to choose that I want to use the free license with SoftRaid?

Seems like you do not have a license entered. You can "purchase" a standard license, which is free.
