Hi, I'm using Softraid Demo v5.5.6 on a 4x3TB disk enclosure configuration:

- 3TB raid5 volume
- 1.5TB raid5 volume

When I try to expand the 3TB volume I get max 4.5TB and when I try on the 1.5TB one I get max 2.1TB.
I was assuming that on a raid5 configuration in a 4x3TB disks I can get an available space of max 9TB.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Figure out which volume you created first. You need to delete the second volume (and back it up first!)

Then you should be able to expand the remaining volume.

SoftRAID does not move data around to expand volumes, or resize them, only the last volume can be expanded. If you had lots of volumes and deleted some, then perhaps the partition maps are not "aligned", which limits your ability to exand the volume. You would then need to backup and create a new 9TB volume.
