Hi, I had one of of my hard drive's fail on me and I replaced it with a new drive. It successfully rebuilt the volume. However, the volume (HD7) won't mount. I've tried selecting "mount volume" but it still stays unmounted.

I'm running 5.8.2. The other volumes are mounted fine. I did add Softward in security settings to allow full disc access.

Thanks

Since it rebuilt, it should be OK.

Run this command in the terminal.app and post the output:

kextstat -b com.softraid.driver.SoftRAID

Since it rebuilt, it should be OK.

Run this command in the terminal.app and post the output:

kextstat -b com.softraid.driver.SoftRAID

I get the following output.

Index Refs Address Size Wired Name (Version) UUID
105 0 0xffffff7f80ea1000 0x3c000 0x3c000 com.softraid.driver.SoftRAID (5.8.2) 4877E914-63E9-3499-95EE-CF13C7D9FB23

I was able to fix the issue by removing the disks from the volume, initializing the disks, and recreating the mirrored volume.
