I have the OWC Mercury Elite Pro Quad (24 TB). When using Softraid Lite XT to configure the hard drive to Raid 1 (mirrored), the max capacity is only 6 TB, not 12 TB as it should be. I don't know why or what to do.

A RAID 1 volume is a mirror, which means the smallest disk is the size of the total volume, i.e, 6TB.
So the best option is create 2 Mirror volumes, of 6TB each.
Note: If you bought the enclosure from OWC, preconfigured with 24TB, it generally comes with SoftRAID XT not SoftRAID Lite XT. Then you could create a RAID 1+0 volume, which would be 12TB.
