@davo

Can you just attach the file created? The errors in terminal are normal and not informative.

What exact error? A part of the application failed?

I got the errors and didn't look to see if anything was generated. Was trying to figure out how to rerun in SIP, BUT here is what you requested.

@softraid-support "An internal part of the SoftRAID application has stopped functioning properly. Please quit SoftRAID and relaunch it."

Uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling doesn't work, either, for me.

@davo What is the status of your main volume? Can it mount (its the rebuilding volume) If it does not mount, is it backed up?

Can you launch this version of SoftRAID?

My main volume (boot drive - which is my internal SSD drive that came with my Mac Pro works fine.

I'm VERY happy to say that beta launched and seemingly operates perfectly! NO error message!!!

That launched- I do not have a backup. I have a DiskDrill recovery. That is better than nothing but the file directory structure was lost which is very important because it is hundreds of testing photos with slight differences defined by the folder they are in. If it can be mounted- that would be ideal.

@davo

Anotherwords, Disk Drill only found structureless data? (no names/folders)

What about R-Studio?
APFS has no recovery tools. THe only thing I have seen work is taking the disks to another computer. that should do nothing, but I have seen it work. Maybe there is a volume cache stored on disk that gets corrupted. I really do not know why an APFS volume would mount on a different computer. Maybe worth a try.

@ckuehne

THe issue is a "timing" kind of issue, hopefully I have a new beta soon.

@softraid-support Great! It says mine is good for another 22 days. I'm just glad to have something that works. :)
