There is a tech page for generically updating volume icons:
I need to get the SoftRAID icons available.
However, 11.3 did not fix your issue?

please make the Icon Available. I replaced the icons, when the beta wiped them away, and I am on 11.4 and 6.0.5 and they haven't come back. Its really a simple thing, but super important because I can see the drives I'm looking for better.

Here is a link to a dmg. Select the one you want to use, open, select all, copy/ paste onto your SoftRAID volume icon.

one note, you might want to convert the images to .icns files. as is they don't work in Big Sur. https://github.com/molcik/PNG-to-ICNS-right-click-converter/releases
