I'm running Version 15.3 Beta (24D5040f) It seems to fix the problem. Now I don't have to turn the raid off and on.
I got a response from Apple they said the build 24D5034f has the fix.
There is no 3/2 adapter. It is a straight active thunderbolt cable. It is a 2019 Mac Pro. connected to a thunderbay 4 Raid. Softraid 8.3.
I have the same problem with this OS update 15.2. SoftRAID enclosure needs to be off so the Mac can continue booting process. Then the raid is turned ...
Does this help? diskutil apfs defragment volumeDevice enable
I see 7.6.1 b8 popup in updates.
Worked for me also. If you need it here is the support file.
Did you get the one I sent?
@softraid-support Yep, blue screen after restart.
This is what came up. See support attachment.
To add my 2019 Mac Pro has two SATA drives installed.
