@stevebgb

We released a 7.6.1 b5, but it is not a fix, we are working on a new beta. It collected additional debug info however, which we are reviewing to try to fix this, this week if possible.

Okey-dokey!

@stevebgb

Its a public beta, that collects slightly different debug data, but it is not as effective as b2. We are working on a new beta, however.

softraid.com/sr_beta is the location.

Is there any progress on this issue? Any workarounds? All my Softraid drives won't even mount to access them.

@dmarkes

Volumes not mounting is a separate issue, not related to this issue of the SoftRAID Monitor failed error.

Can you paste this into terminal, and attach here the file it creates? (You need your admin password)

sudo softraidtool generatereport ~/Desktop/D.Markes.10.22.23.sr_supt

So i'm getting the following text from Terminal when I followed the directions. It's not creating a file for me.

"Assertion failed: (range.location + range.length <= dataLength), function __CFDataValidateRange, file CFData.c, line 242.

zsh: abort      "

@dmarkes

Perchance is this a 2019 Mac Pro?

With internal SATA drives installed?
We just noticed a pattern with the Monitor failed problems, wonder if it also causes this.

@john-graham

the support file was OK. If you relaunch, or restart, do you get the blue screen again?
