Contact SoftRAID support and they will take care of this for you. Its a problem with the license number, easily taken care of.

Today I have the same problem.
I am writing this because I do not recall reading that the previous licence number is valid, in my case, the SoftRAID 7.5 version number.
Today I am purchasing the new version of SoftRAID, v8.6.1, because I need to install MacOS Sequoia, but I cannot find the new v.8 serial number in my personal OWC account, in the licences section (it only shows licences 7, 6 and 5), and I cannot find this solution you describe anywhere else either.
I re-enter my old serial number and, boom, it works with premium privileges.
