Apparently "LLC bus error from cpu2" is a MacOS sleep issue. Here is a comment on the Apple discussion forums:

Seems unrelated to SoftRAID and this current issue. See if their disable sleep suggestion works for you.
Yes, preventing sleep helps. Such a shame that this latest OS update regressed again on that issue.
It seems to have something to do with Thunderbolt.

Installed Ventura 13.5 beta 5 (22G5072a) of July 10 on Studio M1 Max with Thunderblade 4x4TB attached.
Everything seems to work OK.
Startup, shutdown, (awaking from) sleep mode all going smoothly.
The previous 13.5 beta's crashed the machine.

Thanks for reporting that the new 13.5 beta fixes the kernel panic. That is great news that all 2023 users will want to here.

Has anyone tried it on a m2 ultra Mac Studio ? Does it fix the bug with the nvme blades ?

@robbie Just corroborating here. I also have a M1 Max Mac Studio with a Thunderblade. macos 13.5b5 fixes the issue.

I'm a little late in responding because I was in a work spot where I couldn't afford a crash but 13.5 Beta (22G5072a) has solved the issue for me.
All my raids load now, my thunderblade loads, my internal PCIe card 16tb OWC Accelsior 4m2 loads, my raid with 4x4tb U.2 NVMe SSD loads as well.
Fingers crossed the issue is behind us.

I had the same issue in Ventura 13.5 beta and it is still there in Sonoma 14.0 Public Beta 1 🤬Â

Correct, we have not had any reports of Sonoma fixing this bug yet.

Thanks, We cannot comment publicly on bug fixes in Sonoma but if it is indeed fixed in 13.5, then you can expect the same fix being applied to Sonoma very soon.
