I am hoping for more of these success stories. Thanks!
After installing (copying the content) SoftRAID 6.3 b20 on to my Mac Studio M1 Ultra and restarting I get the following SoftRAID error:
- An internal part of the SoftRAID Monitor has stoppe functioning properly. Please quit SoftRAID and relaunch it.
Futher assessing the issue through: sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext results in the following response:
- Error Domain=KMErrorDomain Code=71 "Incompatible architecture: Binary is for x86_64, but needed arch arm64e
Incompatible architecture: Binary is for x86_64, but needed arch arm64e

Rosetta 2 Translation Environment is installed.
I have to check:
Did you do this?
https://support.apple.com/en-lk/guide/mac-help/mchl768f7291/mac
Select reduced security and enable this:
Select the “Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers” checkbox to allow installation of software that uses legacy kernel extensions.
Now you need to reinstall the SoftRAID driver.
After enabling third party extensions, reinstall the SoftRAID driver, (do not immediately restart) and go to System Preferences / Security to "Allow" OWC as an identified developer.
Also, you should navigate to System Preferences/Security/Privacy/Full Disk Access and enable full disk access for SoftRAID.
This appears to be a problem in beta 3. Most likely the driver install succeeded as long as you went to System Preferences/Security to Allow OWC as a developer.
I uninstalled everything SoftRaid from the MAC Studio with macOS Ventura (Version 13.0 Beta (22A5295i)) , but the error persists.
hans@Mac-Studio ~ % sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext
Error Domain=KMErrorDomain Code=71 "Incompatible architecture: Binary is for x86_64, but needed arch arm64e

I recognized that the driver was seen to be loaded a few times, but at no times the SoftRAID Monitor was activated.
Start up in recovery mode (Hold power button), go to System Startup Security in Options (Utilities menu) and please confirm you have the "Allow Third party Developers" enabled for this Ventura system. I need you do confirm this.
As per the attached photo:
- Reduced Security
- Allow user management of kernel extensions from identified developers
- Allow remote management of kernel extensions and automatic software updates-

Photo did not attach, but I get it. (You do not need to enable "remote management", it means a remote login can manage extensions, not something you want on by default.)
Try "uninstall SoftRAID driver" utilities menu (Or the "all components" command). reinstall SoftRAID and see if you get the System panel pop up to enable the driver.
I got a step further and SoftRAID is working now.
Cleanse everything SoftRAID and empty trash.
Install SoftRAID, but do not start the SoftRAID.app.
Show content of SoftRAID.app in Finder.
Copy SoftRAID.Kext to /Library/Extensions
sudo chown -R root /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext
sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext
sudo kmutil load -p /Library/Extensions/SoftRAID.kext
sudo kmutil clear-staging
Reboot
SoftRAID Monitor starts and I can Launch SoftRAID and configure anything.
The "only" issue is that the volumes mounted through SoftRAID likely won't have an icon graphic on the desktop (all is fine in Finder though) it just shows the text.
You recohnize that the preview place in the screenshot is emty.
So I applied my custom ICNS file through "GET INFO" and moved the ICNS file of choice over to the top left icon.
I assume this is because I did not run the installer and the graphics are not copied over.

Jul 14 14:47:12 - SoftRAID Tool: The command 41 encountered the error 1.
As a result the SoftRAID Monitor didn't start and I could not successfully launch the SoftRAID App.
I recognized that there is probably an issue with rebuilding the boot cache, as it mainly fails (stuck on this screen forever) almost all times.
Force Quit is the only option out.
Just as a side note - while doing this assessment I recognised that allowing to send the statistics results in:
Error sending computer statistics to https://api.keen.io/3.0/projects/5a70edaac9e77c00018eb82c/events/User Statistics, curl error = "URL using bad/illegal format or missing URL"

One addition to the above.
Changing the setup from Raid 0 to Raid 5 brought the SoftRAID icons back.
There is a bug in macOS on the icons. It has been there since Big Sur, but usually for users, a macOS update brings them back. It does not affect functionality, but is annoying.
There is a installation mechanism in Ventura we are investigating, which causes the (incorrect) driver installation failed error.
You can disable the statistics in SoftRAID preferences. The third party tools we use for collecting statistics are not working, hence the errors.
Do you still get a kernel panic if you startup with your RAID volume connected? I need some information if you do.
I've got a crash. This is with Ventura that was released and I had installed last night, Softraid v7.0 b18. Should I try with 6.3b20 instead?
The disk wasn't connected when the install completed; I think uptime was about 20 minutes before I plugged it in.
I will need additional information on this. thanks. I will be in touch.
@softraid-support Follow-up: the disk was still attached during the reboot. Once I logged in this morning (just before sending the above) Time Machine had already started the backup. It just completed with no problems.
I'm still willing to help chase this down but it looks like it's going be one of those hard to reproduce issues.
