Thanks for reporting this. So far, 100% of user reports say this bug, and another one with using Resolve, are fixed.
Spoke too soon!
The computer panicked overnight. I do not know what triggered this initial (overnight) panic.
Now I am back to getting purple screen kernel panics reliably. I seem to avoid that if I pop my hard drives out of the bays, boot, wait, then reinstall drives.
Get me a kernel panic log. If you are getting panics on 13.4 beta, we need to urgently investigate. thanks!
Next time the system panics, on restart, there is a "Report to Apple" option. Click "report", then "details". Copy all the text, paste it into Text Edit. "then make sure you "Make plain text", so you can attach it.
My apologies. That was a user error, not a software one. I was still on 13.3.1, not 13.4 Beta. Beta is now properly installed and no panics ensued.
I have both Ventura 13.4 beta running along with a fresh install of the latest SoftRaid beta. My RAID 5 array mounts normally for about 60 seconds before disconnecting and disappearing. Everything was running without issue until I updated to SoftRaid 7.5. I'm running this on an Apple M1 Pro. Where do I even start to get this working?
Please save a SoftRAID Technical support file (Utilities menu) with all disks connected and attach it to your response, so I can investigate.
Does it eject and never come back? How do you get it back to being seen?
